In game theory, Bayesian games are games in which players have incomplete information about the other players. In the majority of games we have described so far, all players had common knowledge, in which all players knew the payoffs, preferences or strategies of their opponents. However in Bayesian games, certain information is private, in that only the individual player knows what they will do next - this affects how the game continues.
